Three Day Wedding Photography Course

The course takes place over three days and is specifically aimed at people who want to become Professional Wedding Photographers.

We cover business, technical and posing the Bride and Groom. Each day being split. into lectures, practical and review. There is a great emphasis on practical photography with models on all 3 days.

Each delegate receives a free copy of "The Business of Wedding Photography" by Chris Hillman, also teas, coffees and lunch's are included.

Introduction to Studio Photography

As a Professional Photographer, a large part of your income will come from portraiture and studio photography. This can be one of the most rewarding areas of the business, but you really do need to know the ropes.

With Studio Photography you are in control of everything from the lighting and the backdrop to the overall feel of the session. So it is really important that you get a sound knowledge of the techniques before you open your doors to paying customers.

Stage 2 Studio Photography

This one day Studio Photography Course, starts at 9.30 through to 4.30 with about an 3/4 hour for lunch.

During the morning we run through some photographic theory with specific reference to studio photography. This will include, setting shutter speed, ISO and aperture. We will discuss flash triggering and the appropriate equipment choices.

We will also look at Model Release Forms and a work schedule.

After lunch, the model will arrive and you we will run though basic posing for a model portfolio and portraiture.

Light lunch and refreshments are provided.

Getting started in Photoshop can be a little daunting and reading the manual or text books can be more confusing than rewarding.

With this Introduction course you will have the opportunity to come to terms with some of the most basic facilities and, if you bring your own lap top, practice them as well.

Photoshop for Wedding Photographers

Photoshop is one of the most powerful image editing programs available.This is the program that we use to create our wedding albums. Learning the full capability of this program could take a lifetime, we don't have that much time. In a day we will take you as far as we can, creating real pages from some of our own wedding shots or yours. We will also look at ways to get out of trouble when everything went wrong!
