As a Professional Photographer, a large part of your income will come from portraiture and studio photography. This can be one of the most rewarding areas of the business, but you really do need to know the ropes.

With Studio Photography you are in control of everything from the lighting and the backdrop to the overall feel of the session. So it is really important that you get a sound knowledge of the techniques before you open your doors to paying customers.

Description

This course is set in our own small studio and is a good basic introduction to studio photography and portraiture.

We start with a basic introduction to the theory of photography, aperture and shutter speed setting, then in the afternoon a we will have a model who will work with you to create a small portfolio of your own shots.

Each course last the whole day and we provide a light lunch, teas and coffees.
